About Ronnie Najjar
Experience & Background
Muay Thai coach since 2004. Former professional fighter. 30 years in combat sports.
A veteran of the Australian “Golden Era” of Muay Thai and former WMC Cruiserweight #3-ranked contender, Ronnie competed across Muay Thai, kickboxing, and boxing over a 24-fight career.
Over decades of teaching and training across 30+ countries on five continents, he studied what the best in the world were doing — testing, refining, and synthesizing it into his own system.
Coaching Approach
My coaching approach is based on understanding why something works, when to use it, and where it fits into the overall map. I teach students step by step, keeping the training challenging but not overwhelming, and manageable without becoming boring. This balance creates the ideal environment for learning and long-term progress.
Because 8Tribe maintains a small-group model, every student gets individual attention and training adjusted to their specific needs. Training is not generic, every person learns differently and needs an individualized approach in order to progress properly.
I also focus on efficient training and getting the most return for minimal damage. I’m big on preserving the body, training intelligently, and avoiding unnecessary wear and tear.
