About Ronnie Najjar

Experience & Background

Muay Thai coach since 2004. Former professional fighter. 30 years in combat sports.

A veteran of the Australian “Golden Era” of Muay Thai and former WMC Cruiserweight #3-ranked contender, Ronnie competed across Muay Thai, kickboxing, and boxing over a 24-fight career.

Over decades of teaching and training across 30+ countries on five continents, he studied what the best in the world were doing — testing, refining, and synthesizing it into his own system.

Coaching Approach

Ronnie’s approach is based on understanding why techniques work, when to use them, and how they fit into the bigger picture of Muay Thai. Training is taught step by step, keeping sessions challenging, structured, and manageable without becoming overwhelming.

Because 8Tribe maintains a small-group model, every student receives individual attention and coaching adjusted to their specific needs. Training is not generic — each person learns differently and requires an individualized approach to progress properly.

There is also a strong emphasis on efficient, intelligent training with minimal unnecessary wear and tear on the body, helping students develop skill while training sustainably long term.
