Youth Muay Thai at 8 Tribe is kept small and focused for quality.
Training follows the same technical standards used in adult Muay Thai. Emphasis is placed on fundamentals, movement quality, discipline, and proper training habits.
Youth training is offered in a closed, semi-private format to protect training quality and individual development.
All new students begin with a private assessment before any training recommendation is made.
What This Program Is (and Isn’t)
This program is:
Technique-focused and structured
Small, semi-private, and closely supervised
Focused, disciplined, and respectful
This program is not:
Play-based or daycare-style class
A belt system or gimmick program
Loud, chaotic, or disruptive
Safety & Structure
Safety is built into how training is structured.
All drills are supervised
Contact is controlled and introduced only when appropriate
Progress is based on readiness
Technique is emphasized over power
Coach Ronnie trains his own children using the same standards, structure, and expectations.
What Kids Learn
Proper stance, balance, and movement
Basic punches, kicks, knees, and defense
Pad work and partner drills
Controlled, age-appropriate sparring (only when ready)
Focus, patience, and respect for training partners
Movement based exercises to develop coordination and strength

Training Schedule
Youth training is run in a small, closed, semi-private format.
Sessions are scheduled on limited days and times and are not publicly open for drop-in.
Group training availability is determined after assessment.
