About Ronnie Najjar
Experience & Background
Muay Thai coach since 2004. Former professional fighter. 30+ years in combat sports.
A veteran of the Australian “Golden Era” of Muay Thai and former WMC Cruiserweight #3-ranked contender, Ronnie competed across Muay Thai, kickboxing, and boxing over a 24-fight career.
Ronnie has trained and taught in over 30 countries across five continents over the last few decades — studying, testing, and refining what the best in the world were doing, and synthesizing it into his own coaching system.
Coaching Approach
Ronnie’s coaching focuses on understanding why techniques work, when to use them, and how they fit into the bigger picture of Muay Thai. Training is taught step by step, keeping sessions challenging, structured, and manageable without becoming overwhelming.
Because 8Tribe maintains a small-group model, every student receives individual attention and coaching adjusted to their level and needs. Training is technical, deliberate, and built around long-term progress, as opposed to random workouts or unnecessary wear and tear on the body.
