Experience That Helps Students Progress Faster
Learning Muay Thai shouldn't be about guessing. It should be about understanding why techniques work, building strong fundamentals, and making steady progress from one class to the next.
Ronnie Najjar has coached Muay Thai since 2004 and brings more than 30 years of experience in combat sports. As a former professional fighter, he competed in 22 professional bouts across Muay Thai, kickboxing, and boxing, and was ranked No. 3 Cruiserweight in Australia by the World Muaythai Council (WMC). His coaching has also been shaped through more than three years training in Thailand, teaching seminars internationally, and training in over 30 countries.
Today, that experience serves one purpose: helping students improve faster through technical coaching and strong fundamentals.
Coaching Philosophy
Good Muay Thai is beautiful because it makes sense.
Rather than asking students to simply copy techniques, Ronnie teaches the principles behind every movement—timing, balance, distance, rhythm, posture, and decision-making.
When you understand why something works, you don't just perform techniques better—you remember them, adapt them, and continue improving long after class is over.
Much of this philosophy was developed at Sityodtong Academy in Australia under longtime coach Jeab Sityodtong. Years of patient instruction built an appreciation for strong fundamentals, technical precision, and the finer details that continue to shape every class today.
One of Ronnie's earliest and most influential coaches, Jeab. The lessons learned through years of patient instruction continue to shape the way he teaches today.
